Ballet Crypto Gift Card

Why Ballet for gifting.

Crypto gifts, every occasion

Stop agonizing over what to send employees, customers, and partners. One product covers onboarding kits, holiday bonuses, milestone gifts, conference giveaways, and VIP welcomes — the artwork and load amount change, the procurement path doesn't.

Procurement once, deploy anywhere

Friendly to first-time users

The QR code on the back opens a balance page on any phone — no app install needed. Recipients see the gift is real before they decide what to do with it. The easiest entry point into crypto your team can hand out.

A cold storage card you can just hold

Non-custodial by design

No account to create, no seed phrase to write down, no password to remember. The card has its own deposit address — recipients simply hold it, like cash. Unlike a digital voucher or redemption code, the value belongs to whoever holds the card.

Scan to see balance or deposit address

Anatomy of a card

How it works.

Every card you send is a cold storage card — one your recipient can hold in their hand. Here's what each part does.

Before use (sealed)

Ballet CGC back view — card info, QR code and private key area
  • 1Card information QR code
  • 2Passphrase Entropy (sealed)
  • 3Serial Number

As you receive it, only the public side shows — scan the card-information QR 1 with your phone camera to see the balance and deposit address. The keys stay sealed.

Verify before depositing
  • Confirm the scratch-off 2 and the encrypted private key sticker are intact, and serials 3 match.
  • A honeycomb pattern under the seal signals tampering.

After use (opened)

Ballet CGC exploded view — passphrase scratch-off and private key entropy layers
  • 4Passphrase Entropy
  • 5Private Key Entropy (QR code)
  • 6Private Key Entropy (text)

Once the strip 2 is scratched off and the sticker lifted, the Passphrase Entropy 4 and the encrypted private key 5 6 are exposed — only with both can the funds be moved, so anyone who sees both controls the crypto.

Protect after opening
  • Keep the card private and never photograph it.
  • Opening is one-way, and a lost card can't be recovered.

Frequently Asked Questions.

Ordering & customization

What is the minimum order quantity?

Our standard volume tiers start at 50 cards. For a smaller pilot or a run larger than the listed tiers, contact sales for a custom quote.

How long does a bulk order take?

Lead time scales with volume — about 1 week for 50 cards, 2 weeks for 200, and 3 weeks for 1,000 — counted from the day you approve the digital proof. We email the proof within 2 business days of your order.

Can I pay by wire transfer and receive an invoice?

Yes. Checkout is powered by Stripe, and wire transfer or crypto payment is available on quote. We provide a commercial invoice for your records.

Can one card store multiple cryptocurrencies?

No, the Ballet Crypto Gift Card only supports a single cryptocurrency.

The card is customized to correspond to the specific cryptocurrency that the customer submitted during the customization process, and it cannot be used to store or support any other cryptocurrency.

How do I fund hundreds of cards at once?

Both options require a Ballet REAL Series cold storage card with Expert Mode enabled — turn on Expert Mode in the app’s settings first. Then choose one of two ways to fund your gift cards in bulk: (1) use the deposit-address CSV we email you after production, pasting the addresses into your exchange or wallet’s batch-send tool to fund all cards at once; or (2) scan each card’s QR code in the Ballet app and send it a fixed amount.

Using your cards

How do I view crypto assets on the card?

Using your smartphone camera to scan the QR code on the card, you will be directed to a webpage that shows real-time information about the crypto assets stored on the card.

How do I add the card to the Ballet Crypto app?

Tap “Scan” on the app homepage and scan the QR code on your card to add it to the app.

You can download the app from app.ballet.com to discuss your customization requirements.

Please note that the app allows you to view your crypto assets, but it does not actually store your crypto assets on the device.

How do I send crypto out of the card?

To send crypto out of a Crypto Gift Card, first add the card to the Ballet Crypto app. The card is set up for a single, one-time transfer, so it’s simple: tap Send, enter the destination address, and the app automatically fills in the card’s full available balance. Then enter the card’s Passphrase Entropy and Private Key Entropy to authorize, and the transfer is complete.

Is the Ballet Crypto Gift Card disposable?

The Ballet Crypto Gift Card is designed to be loaded once and handed on, like cash, and we recommend that you load it with your chosen cryptocurrency and gift it to someone else.

Unlike a regular wallet, the crypto gift card is not designed to be reloaded and reused. Instead, it is a convenient and secure way to introduce someone to the world of cryptocurrencies or share your favorite digital assets with them. Once the recipient receives the gift card, they can easily add it to the Ballet Crypto app to access and manage the cryptocurrency stored on the card. It’s a unique and thoughtful way to spread the joy of digital currencies while ensuring a seamless user experience.

Why is the deposit address not visible anymore?

The deposit address is not visible anymore once the card has been loaded with the designated amount of cryptocurrency that matches the denomination amount on the card.

This is done for security reasons. Once the card is loaded, the deposit address is hidden to ensure the protection of your funds. It is important to note that the hidden deposit address does not affect your ability to use or access the cryptocurrency stored on the card. You can still manage and utilize your funds through the Ballet Crypto app.
